    Super Pastel Stripe...

    Hey,
I was just tryin to figure out the genetics for a super pastel stripe.
Since stripe is recessive, you would have to start out with a homozygous stripe. Then breed that to a pastel, hoping that you get a pastel het for stripe. Then breed that to another pastel het stripe and you might get a super pastel stripe?
Please correct me if I am wrong

    Thanks,
    Kevin

    Re: Super Pastel Stripe...

If stripe is recessive, then it would have to be super, right?

    I think you misunderstand.

The Super Stripe is a completely different morph from the Genetic Stripe, to which you are referring.

    Spector/Whirlwind all over again! LOL

As H-dub mentioned Super Stripe is different from the G-stripe (genetic stripe)

Pastel Super Stripe, Super Pastel Super Stripe, Pastel G-stripe, Super Paste G-stripe are all different.

    Re: Super Pastel Stripe...

Pastel Yellowbelly Spector = Pastel Super Stripe

You can get that by breeding any of those three together than to the 3rd.

But good luck with finding any Spectors/Whirlwinds.
1.0: Honey Bee | Lesser | Banana Pastel Enchi | Clown 66% Het Albino
0.1: Kingpin | x2 Mojave | Super Pastel HGW | Albino | Sterling Mojave Pinstripe | GHI Pewter | Pastel Het Clown | Sable 66% Het Clown

They are fairly new but also not a lot known about them and many are beginning to think they are the same.

Most breeders are holding back all for designer projects.
