Will this ratio work?
I just adopted 2 of the cutest sweetest blue boy rats. Now we are ready to breed. Can I put 1 female in with them? Will they fight? Will the babies be ok?

Re: Will this ratio work?
If you have one snake, it's not worth breeding them at all..
I would also not breed the American Blues, they tend to have immune system problems and the females have issues with birthing and hemorrhaging.
If the males are babies, wait a few more months. Females should be at least 5-6 months and over 250grams. Get her a buddy and wait. Or just breed mice. Or buy frozen...

Ditto Satanic 100%. For one snake, you will quickly be over run with rats, high bills and fighting males with that ratio.
For a few snakes, it is far more economical and stree free to buy bulk frozen feeders online.
