Question Thermostat question(s) Helix and Johnson

Yes it's another thermostat question, but I'm hoping that this one is different from the hundreds of others that have been asked. And I have not been able to find the answer to these particular questions.

I know that the Helix is a proportional stat, but does it have silent operation?

What about the Johnson? It's an on/off stat, but does it turn on and off silently, or am I going to be listening to it clicking on and off all night long?

I suppose while I'm at it what about the Ranco one?

Let me know which thermostats you guys run and whether you can hear them make noise while they operate, especially the on/off types.

    Thanks.

I have a Ranco and Helix, the helix is silent but the Ranco has a click when it turns on and off.

I have Johnson, Ranco and Helix.

Most on/off stats will make a slight clicking noise the Helix makes no noise.
