Re: how/where do you get signed paperwork for morphs?

I just dug through the paperwork I actually have on hand out of the dozens of animals I've purchased, and the only breeders who sent paperwork were Albey Scholl, Miss Maki, and Grant Whitmer on my lavender albino hets. Graziani, NERD, and others never sent me a thing. Which doesn't matter to me personally because obviously they are what they say they are, but again - if and when I try to sell these animals it's unneeded and unnecessary footwork to get that info from the original breeder. Which Is, I believe, what the OP was asking about.

Sorry, it's just always been a pet peeve of mine that a lot of the big guys don't send out paperwork automatically with hets. You're lucky to even get an invoice in that box. I'm going to send out laminated genetics picture IDs and detailed event records with anything produced here. It's not so much extra work.

Ironically enough, every het I have that has come with paperwork turned out to be fake, while there are no problems with the few I've received without papers.

Re: how/where do you get signed paperwork for morphs?

the only hets i have bought, were from reputable local breeders, with no paperwork, but eve when we sell a normal,it comes with a feed card, with the date hatched, clutch number, mom and dad names, and a list of feedings and shed, which also lists if its a normal,50%het,or visual co dom,,as we dont have any visual reccesive yet,we havent had to list that, but we will

Also,is your visual pastel or spider or elsser for example, doesnt appear to be to a morph, and NEEDS papers saying it is,then why are you breeding it?,just my opinion,i see a LOT of "great looking pastels"that to me,i have to look really close to see they arent normals

Re: how/where do you get signed paperwork for morphs?

visible morphs = no paperwork cause you can see it.( outside axanthics since it will fade out )

hets I prefer some paper work saying they are het.. This be their birthcard (With parents info ) a receipt stating this. or a writen ( printed ) paper fro mthe breeder with a picture of snake ,in writing, date of purchase, and the breeder john handcock... all of these go into a evenlope so all records are kept together. When I breed i will have a picture of the animal, picture of the parents, dates the eggs laid hatched, number of time feed( if I had problem getting started to eat) and any het info I got ( even if it copies of the orginal papers.) and 100% het with a purchase price money back ( this will be writen down in the records) and I will put it all on a cd ( thanks deb for the ideal ) a second cd will be kept ( or an iso image) under the purchaser's name on a n external had for 5 years.. after that point it moreless known to been breed if breeding was the plan.

Paper work is as good as the breeder who produced it.
