Smile More pastel pics... better? (DUW)

I was inspired by cinderbelle's encouragement, when I asked about taking decent photos with a point-and-shoot - so I decided to give Toby a little photo shoot. I haven't made a light tent yet (I plan to), but just using a reading lamp really improved the clarity & color. My camera died before I could do too much experimenting, so these are just on auto setting... not too bad, though!

Of course, he preferred the warmth of my lap...

    Getting big already!

Can a snake have both flaming AND blushing?

Thanks! I love that first picture too, since he just has the sweetest face. Of course I'm a little biased, LOL. I tried out the macro setting on my camera, and got some more decent pics. I can't wait to set up a light tent, and eventually get a real camera...

He is a beauty!!! I think (and correct me if I'm wrong), blushing is on the back, and flames are on the side. So, yes they can have both. That's how I understand it anyway, but I'm not 100% certain.

Thanks everyone! I am so in love with my little Pastel, and he does take a nice picture... now if I could just set up a light tent, we'll really have some fun!

Thanks! By "cheerios" do you mean the O marking on his side? I like that too... and the "alien heads" are also way cool.

P.S. I just bought a 29x29x29 collapsible light tent on eBay, for only $30 with free shipping. Thought about making my own, but I'm just not handy enough, and there were some really good deals on eBay. Can't wait to try it out!
