    ASF Help

    Hi,

One of our older ASF's is bleeding from her rear end. When she walks around you can see what looks like a small bloody balloon protruding. She doesn't appear to be pregnant, but has been an excellent producer up until this and was just weaned of her most recent babies so she is due. I tried to pull on the bubble thinking it might be a baby stuck half way, but it is really stuck. I noticed it first this morning around 10 hours ago and it seems to have come out about twice as far in that time. Has anyone seen anything like this? Any advice?

Maybe a prolapse? Hopefully Connie or Mike will chime in.

Thanks for the advice, i've fed her and her man off. Actually the first ASF's my snakes have eaten, these things die quietly.
