setting up my tank NEED HELP!
okay so this uth... should I peel the paper and stick it on the tank or should I leave the paper on and use aluminum tape?? It is a Zoo Med.
Another thing, the probe for the thermostat gets taped on the heater between the bottom of the glass and the uth?

Re: setting up my tank NEED HELP!
Forgot...where does the thermometer/hygdrometer probe go? In the tank on the bottom of the hot side? Do I use aluminum tape for this as well?

Re: setting up my tank NEED HELP!
If you plan to ever move the UTH and re-use it - leave the paper on it, and place the thermostat probe between the tank and the UTH. The UTH is mounted outside of the tank (some people place it inside incorrectly - so thought it worth a mention).
I do NOT tape down thermometer probes. Set it on top if the substrate inside the warm side hide where the snake will actually lay. You want to measure the temps that the snake is feeling. It will move around - it's just something you have to keep an eye on.
NO tape of any kind should be inside the enclosure - it could end badly for the snake.
