    The Spider is Go!

Just received our newest addition! My fiance decided to spoil himself (and me ). We just finished building a rack and now need to fill it up...

So... the first new tenant out of 18 is a male spider 66% het lavender albino from Ben Siegel Reptiles. He's a big boy and didn't fit in the first hide that I gave him. I will get better pictures of him when he's settled and eating. His eyes are gold!

Next week I have a 100% het caramel albino male and 66% het female arriving.... sooooo happpyyyy!!

He named him Peter (as in spiderman...go figure )

I love the white on him. I'm a big fan of the speckled type paterns when you get a spider with a lot of white. Congrats.

That's a great looking spider.... But, wait a minute... If this is 66% possible het lavender albino, that means that someone was breeding a spider het lavender albino to a het lavender albino and so were trying for a lavender albino spider. Were they successful? I've never seen one of those does anyone know if there are any lavender albino spiders out there?

    Re: The Spider is Go!

Thanks guys, I have been really exited about this guy too.

I have looked everywhere for a picture or evidence of a Lavender albino spider but couldn't find anything. My fiance purchased him from Ben Siegel Reptiles but he was told this guy was actually produced by Brock Wagner. Maybe Brock can add some more info in the subject (lavender spiders). I have been meaning to contact him. I think it would be cool if he could see one of his babies all grown up .
