It's fine Matt. We, like any community online or off, have our times but then what family doesn't.
Now on to my next lift somebody up post.....
I wanted to thank all of our members from Scotland. Some of you know I was raised by my granny, who was blessed to be born in Greenock, Scotland. Though she lived most of her life in Canada she never quite lost that lovely sound of "home". She's been gone 6 years now (she actually passed just weeks before young Michael was born) and I miss her every day still.
I just wanted to say thank you for your posts. I can hear the sounds so like hers in the words you type and I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. It's a bit odd that a snake forum sometimes makes a connection like this but it does for me. Brings a smile to "Betty's wee lass".

Re: Lift Somebody UP Today!
My thanks goes out to "frankykeno," most of all. Her posts are always so inspiring and informative! She reached out to me when I was having aggressive snake problems, and I appreciate that so much. She made me realize there is hope. Her inspiring words helped me to overcome the fear I had of my snake, just by doing a small self-pep-talk before handling. THANK YOU!!
Also, a BIG THANKS to everyone else who has helped me with any questions I have ever had! Each and EVERY time I post, I always get helpful, kind responses. It makes me feel so welcome and accepted. Everyone that has ever responded to my posts has always had nothing but good information, helpful advice and a welcoming tone. I know there are troublemakers out there, but all of the members I have "met" through responses have not been that way, at all. Thank you all for that!
The mods, admins and the site itself get a huge THANK YOU, too.

Re: Lift Somebody UP Today!
I would like to thank Heather, of Heather's Herps. She's been there to answer questions for me, and has twice now offered experiences that helped me with two of my snakes when I didn't know who else to call or ask. Her love for the animals is first and foremost, and she is definitely a credit to the hobby. He customer service is impeccable, and her word means something. I look up to her, and hope I can be even half the breeder she is someday. I love ya Heather, but not in a weird way.. LOL

Re: Lift Somebody UP Today!
Hmm. I think Connie (littleindiangirl) is absolutely inspirational. She has always been the kindest person to me in this community and we always seem to have the same opinions! Which, IMO are good ones. She has also done a great deal to go out of her way to help me personally, which I deeply appreciate.
I also wanted to give signs of respect to Wes (wilomn) and Patrick (Patrick Long). Though many people probably have their problems with Wes, and he doesn't always have a good thing to say, he really isn't afraid to say it anyways. Pat as well will speak his mind even if everyone may not agree with it, and that to me, shows a very key aspect to a person. And, they're words are often simple, sweet, and damn to the point. They both are extremely helpful and experianced men who really do know what they are talking about, and sometimes, thats exactly what we need.
