    Breeding questions...

I have a female ball that I introduced late this year (early to mid-April actually). I have been trying to see if I can feel for folicles over the last couple weeks. I just left town for a week and before I left she was in shed and I thought I felt something. Well, when I came home she had shed and the things I felt seemed to have grown substantially bigger over the week. I offered her food yesterday and she SLAMMED it! Is this normal behavior from a female that is developing? Should I keep introducing the male? This my first attempt at this any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Re: Breeding questions...

I would recommend you to keep pairing until you witness an ovulation (this will be your best bet)

As for eating or not, some female can go off feed early on during the season and some will eat all the way up to the time they ovulate, it varies.

    Good luck.
