my new BP
hello people!
well, im new to the BP world, i have owned other snakes in the past, i started out with a garter snake, then i got another garter followed by a gopher snake, then my really big boy! i got a Boa constrictor!
they was along long time ago(about 10 years) i have not had a snake for 10ish years and i just got this which i believe is a female due to size and small spurs, she is 2 years old.

she is in her shedding phase, ill post pics of her after she is done, she should look even nicer when she is done.

Re: my new BP
Can't go wrong with a ball python!
It'll be fun to see her after her shed with her full colours blazing in all their glory.
Best of luck with her! And be sure to post updated pics after she sheds.

Re: my new BP
Congratulations! Be sure to get her sexed to be sure at some point, because I've got females with spurs bigger than some of my males, and some males with barely detectable spurs. With ball pythons, you can't sex by spur size.
Be sure to post pictures after she's shed!

Re: my new BP
Hi, and Grats on your new pickup. Most ball pythons go into shed right after a move into a new enclosure. I believe it is caused from stress. Make sure his / her humidity is around 60 or 65% until after her shed.
