Brian, sometimes it's just like high school isn't it. These petty idiots with the gossip and the backbiting....blech! Good people know the truth of it, don't listen to stupid rumors by people that are only brave enough to use a keyboard or whisper behind someone's back and we know you for the decent person you are. The rest of them, well what I'd like to say about them would end up with me having to infract myself for inappropriate language.

Re: Please read, about forum rumors and NRIP (long)
Thanks for the kind words everyone. I hated to even post it because I don't normally want to get involved in this kind of thing, but I just couldn't take it anymore. Not so much the part about me as much as the part about our hobby self imploding. I have spent 23 years breeding reptiles for a living and this is all I know and love. I pains me beyond beleif to see this action. It's just not needed. People can say what they want about me and of course it bothers me but I would normally not ever say anything about it. With all the mud sligging I've seen on the net and heard from phone calls this past couple of weeks I had to speak out. I agree that all sides can do a better job of working together and we should as supporters of these organizations force them into it. My question is where are the leaders of these organizations when it comes to condemming the actions of their bulldog members?? I know they have a lot on their plate, but come on??? There should be some response to this type of inner hobby bashing on one another. And I mean the USARK/ PIJAC, not person on person( that will always go on for some stupid reason). I will continue to support both oreganizations, but I do want to start to put the pressure on them to speak out against this rederick. Remember it's our membership that pays thier salary. They work for us and we deserve better in my opinion. I promise I won't make post like this too much in the future. Again thanks for being so great about it. Brian(BHB)

Brian, there's absolutely no need to apologize for a thread like this. You have just as much right to speak your mind as any member here and this is a very important issue.
I completely agree with you that the last thing we need right now is a bunch of backstabbing and in-fighting. We need to work together to protect the rights we do have before we'll have nothing much to work for (or fight about) left.

Not to minimize that jabs that aimed at you, but the very fact that the acolytes of one organization seem to be targeting the other is even more disturbing. Some people are now screaming about pulling support for PIJAC because of the NRIP (and PIJAC's attempts at internal regulation) and rallying solely behind USARK. Why is USARK not issuing a statement refuting these calls?
It seems clear that PIJAC understands the game and that any efforts by either PIJAC or others to enact self-regulation and control is seen as "weak compromise" by some elements of this community.

Well i know Brian is doing what he can ,for 1 cause he took time out of his busy setup schedule at the last White Plains Show , to talk a bit back and forth with me about the HR669 . i was looking to find out more up to date info on what was going on at that time and he stopped and we talked for about 15 mins about it , even though he needed to get back to his table and finish getting set up for the public .
so i will say thanks Brian for updating me at the show on what was new with HR669 . and ill talk more with ya at the next show .

I love it when people tell me, "You should think before you speak!" I'm like, "I did. It's what I think and I really don't give a crap what other people think."
