    need idea on making locks.

i been googling but i cant find any.

i want to make an arcylic display tanks & having locks on them. But most of the display tank i see got individual locks.. which i dont want. (imagine sorting which keys go to which)

i like this one.. see the one lock at the side.. it look like a piece of arcylic with holes where it slides & it just need one lock.

anyone got close-up of this "sliding lock"?

Add latches on each lid that close over tabs with a hole on each display, then you can slide an acrylic rod through all the holes. Use Weld-On to put a small acrylic plate on one end, then drill a hole in the other end of the rod so you can put a lock through that. The rod won't be able to be removed without removing the lock.

One more thing to think about -- depending on where you get the locks from, you can sometimes get multiple locks that use the same key.
