    New Red Dalmation - Pix

After like two years of searching I finally got a red! She’s a BEAUTIFUL red dalmatian with inkspots, and red spots too. Got her at the Hamburg PA show today

She is a total spaz though *see second pic* bit me three times.

Enjoy, I'll get more pix when she settles down a bit

lol, wait she bit you???? That's got to be the first time I've ever heard of anyone getting nailed by a crestie

Sweet looking pickup man! I love a nice red dalmation, I got a little one here that I'm really hoping is a female because I've got an older male dalmation that I'm dying to try and pair up with her

I've heard of them biting people, but it's pretty darn rare.

Here's a vid of a gecko biting a guy's hand, but for reasons other than being scared...lol:

LOL yea she bit me a lot I think it was the stress of the show and all that caused it cuz she is really wild so I'm letting her rest for a while. My other male gecko also tries to bite me and....do things.... The others are all docile and calm.

Reds are my favorite color morph so I'm glad I finally have one!

Mine will only bite if I'm attempting to restrain her and my finger gets in the way.

    Doesn't hurt or anything.

    Nice Red!

Nice looking girl you picked up!

It's not that rare to get bitten by a crested, it's just rather minor and not really noteable at all. Some of mine bite upon thorough inspection, babies like to bite upon stuck shed removal, some bite when you are tossing in their insects (oops, was that a finger), etc, etc, but it's usually just a peck. I've only ever had one crested actually draw a tiny amount of blood when she bit me--I think I was trying to check her calcium sacks and she was not having it! Now my gargoyles and chahouas--they do draw blood with a quick peck because they have sharper teeth!

Re: New Red Dalmation - Pix

Cute little red dal. They always remind me of lady bugs.

I've been bitten on more than a few occassions by cresties. I do most of my photo taking at night when they're nice and active and low-and-behold they don't like being restrained or manipulated much. A few of mine just have attitude. And then there have been the few times where I tried to handle an especially randy male and... well... you all saw the video.
