The use of "whenever"
I just watched some videos .. and I have to ask, when did it become proper or accepted to use the word "whenever" for any time in a sentence talking about time.
For example - "I remember back whenever I was in the either grade I liked George."
Why was when not used there? ALL OF THE VIDEOS I SAW YESTERDAY WERE LIKE THIS! I don't know if I am just picky about this one thing, or if it really is proper .. but it drives me NUTS!

Come here little guy. You're awfully cute and fluffy but unfortunately for you, you're made of meat

Re: The use of "whenever"
I can forgive some grammar mistakes, for example I have no issue with ending sentances with prepositions in conversation. It has become so commonplace we might as well rewrite the rules regarding that.
Also using "their" as a singular pronoun referencing anything belonging to a person of unknown gender is pretty universal now. "His or her" just doesn't flow nicely.
The ones that get me the most are single words. Irregardless, flammable, misunderestimated... lol
My biggest pet peeve though is people who say they want to "go to Chipolte for lunch". It's not "Chipolte". It's "Chipotle". I realize it isn't an english-specific word, but come on. I can understand difficulty with pronouncing certain vowels or consonants that are slightly different than our own, but re-arranging the order of the letters in a word?
That's only forgivable if you are 4 years old or lysdexic.

I had so many errors in my post .. complaining about errors.
uhg
Typing is NOT my forte, neither is proofreading. I don't have a personal vendetta against the word, but how much and where it is used bugs me. I know I have little space to talk, but .. come on. COME ON!

And why does hot water need to be heated if it's already hot?
Shouldn't a hot water heater be called a cold water heater?

Re: The use of "whenever"
I hate all manner of that stuff. *Irregardless, I could care less, saying random for no reason, double negatives, and the way a lot of twenty something girls talk in general.* And I'm twenty something. That movie Idiocracy was dead on with where we are headed. It doesn't help that rappers like Kanye West throw big words around with obviously incorrect context, meaning and usage.
90's valley girl x ghetto hybrids is like totally where it's at, yo. Sorry, that was like, totally random, but irregardless it is way funny whenever we talk like that, yo, hella funny. </club girl voice>
