Re: PETA broke their own animal killing record in '08

I've known about it for years, too, and I occasionally bring it up on here and other forums. But with HR669 being proposed and backed by these groups, my priorities have shifted to the offensive with them.
What are these mojavas I keep hearing so much about?

    Hyppocrisy to the extreme.

Or the head of PETA's insulin shots that she takes daily (developed VIA animal research)...

UGH, I will not start. Today has been the first calm day in a while.
Lets not forget her "reality show" where she had a "garage sale" to donate all the funds to them...

I think in the SAME episode, she swung over to see Hef at the Playboy Mansion, and while strolling through the garden, Hef asked something to the effect of, "Would you like to go see the Monkeys"? (That are living in a cage mind you)... and she bounced a few times and hopped on over... Or something to that effect. Didn't pay much attention, just thought it made her look like an arse.
Grey Scale is a good thing...

Re: PETA broke their own animal killing record in '08

I really am disgusted by these 'activists' and their ilk... Ingrid Newkirk is the nutjob co-founder of PETA and had this to say about her days working in a shelter:

"In the end, I would go to work early, before anyone got there, and I would just kill the animals myself. Because I couldn't stand to let them go through that. I must have killed a thousand of them, sometimes dozens every day. Some of those people would take pleasure in making them suffer. Driving home every night, I would cry just thinking about it. And I just felt, to my bones, this cannot be right."

She has also said that she would rather kill every single pet dog and cat as opposed to them living as 'domesticated'... but remember, conservatives are the fringe in this country! LOL
