Feed Cards??
Just wondering how everyone does it. Here is a pic of one of my blank cards.
The first card will have a photo of the snake on back the rest after that just have the feed info on back as well so I dont use as many cards. I just simply right the date if it ate I write yes if it was offerd I write no and leave a not. Then shedding or deficating I just write date and check it and leave a note if I feel its needed.

Re: Feed Cards??
I guess I'm still old school, I keep a tabbed binder, and use this type so I can jot notes. So God forbid I have to go to the vet, the binder goes with.

I am a little neurotic and everything gets jotted down! 1 sheet usually lasts weekly feeders 4 months, I wouldn't know what to do with all those index cards.

Re: Feed Cards??
I almost thought of using the computer but knowing my luck it owuld crash and I would lose everything. I might still do it on the computer as well but I like haveing the cards. Then if and when I ever do sell the snake tghe person I sell it to can have all the info and see for themselves how they ate shed ans so fourth.
I will eventually have 10x as many snakes as I do now and its just easier to keep track of them this way for me cause I keep the card with there tub.

Yeah but then you have to put store the cards somewhere, that's where I would run into misplacing them lol. I have a 12 slot rack, planning on building a couple more, each rack will have 1 notebook.

I regularly print out reports to keep all that info just in case something happens. I also periodically back everything up onto hard disk. Feed cards are easily printed out for customers that shows all the info, along with a picture of the snake.
But this is just what is working best for me. I've got over 50 snakes and am horrible at losing things so it'd be just a matter of time before I lost paper feed cards. LOL
Degei is great and the basic version is totally free. I urge anyone to give it a try, even if they only have one snake. It's so easy to see trends at a glance.
