    Even if HR669 passes...

    which i hope it doesn't....

    We can still petition to add ball pythons and our other pets to list.. so hopefully they will add it to the approved list IF the bill is passed(worst case scenario)

    me too.... im completely against it... im printing flyers and passing them out around my school to teachers to hang up in the lounge and such...

    HR 669 requires that petitioners pay to have animals evaluated to be added to the list. A 24 month scientific risk assessment as mandated by HR 669 can potentially run into the millions. I don't know of anyone (or even two, three, or 10) breeders in the business right now given the economic climate that could foot the bill for ball pythons to be considered.

    As for other pets, I'm sure the situation is even worse.

    Im sorry but not only would we have to get ball pythons on the list but also their feeders, which could take who knows how long.
