Re: Urgent need help!! got eggs no incubator..
take a deep breath!
set up an incubator as soon as you can. It is NOT an emergency situation though... That mom is perfectly capable of taking care of the eggs herself. The reason many of us use incubators in the first place is to provide optimum temps and humidity, and to get mom back up to weight. She will not eat until the eggs are either out of her tub, or hatched.
Don't take those eggs from her until you have a properly functioning incubator that has been tested for a day or two.

Let her handle it. Make sure she has plenty of water, and leave her be.
Snakes have incubated plenty of clutches without our help.

Heather...how often do you let the mothers incubate, and what kind of hatch rate do you have?

Once, back in the day. I may let it happen again this year, possibly.
Hatch rate was 100% for 6 eggs. She went to around 70 days.

Re: Urgent need help!! got eggs no incubator..
Well lucky after stoping by 12 diffrent stores and countless phone calls,I found a hova bator and vermiculite. I'm seting it up now,I was just worried as this is my 1st clutch and i didnt want to mess any thing up thanks every one.
I believe there are 5+ eggs. Once the hova bator is set up and the temps are set right I will most likely put the eggs in the next 12-36hours depending on how stable the temps stay with in the 1st 12.Again thanks every one now that the worry is gone I'm so excited.Good luck to everyone else..

congrats also if you find the humidty a little low can place it on a pheating pad set to low this will keep the moisture on the bottom warm and evaportaing to raise the leve since most will condense on the lid and drip down ..

I had almost the same problem as you earlier this month and cryed like a baby for help becuse I thought they would all die. But I got the advise to leave the eggs with mom and now they are in the incubator and doing just fine.
Good luck!
