Funny scene...
I use to prescent my balls enclosure, by using a little cricket box in which I put the living mouse and that I place inside the cage. When Pete starts to investigate the box I usually take it out (with a tong) and offer the rodent.
Last feeding night i was able to watch the following:
The mouse was pretty active and somehow managed to open the lid of the box, but it did not even touch the ground, because Pete was armed and ready and as soon the little fuzzy nose peeked out.... boom there he was...
Who says snakes do not eat canned food...
