    SIGH... "Healthy food is too expensive, and it's too much effort to work out, so we're fat because its genetic" Grr... that is the main cop-out. True, being obese can be genetic, but it's rare. But because the condition does exist, many people rush to claim it...

    Sorry, pet peeve of mine. I'm overweight and have been at the same weight now for 7 years. I've adjusted my diet (as much as possible given my acid reflux and the rising food prices) and try to get as much exercise as I can with bad knees, but the numbers just don't change.
