    Interested in Papuan Python need info

    I am interested in getting a papuan python in the near furture and need info on thier care. I have been searching the web and can find nothing on them.

    papuans are in their own genus... they are not liasis. they are Apodora.

    not much IS known about them... there's only two breeders i can think of that are even working with them.

    They are pretty cool looking snakes. They get way too big for my taste though. If I was gonna get a snake that got that large i'd get an olive.

    If you do a google search for " Apodora Papuana " you will get a lot of websites to visit, like http://apodora.freewebsites.com . Though just because a webpage gives you information on an animal, that doesn't mean it is correct information so go to all the sites you can find and try to locate a successful Keeper/Breeder of the species you are interested in.
    There is also a Wikipedia page for them though it is very short. Just general information basically.
