    Question about Het?

I'll use an albino as an example...

Let's say I have a normal female that is het for albino and I want albino babies. Do I have to breed her to an actual albino or can I breed her to a male that is also het for albino? Also, what part do the percents play in all this? I see some that are 66% het and others that are 100%.

    Re: Question about Het?

Het to het gives you a 25% per egg as long as the hets are of the same morph. Normal looking animals will be 66% het.

Het to homo animal will give you 50% chance that each egg will be the morph.

All the babies will be 100% het if they look normal.

A het to a normal will give 50% hets.....you have to breed these out to find what you want.

There are some cool sites you can look at like the NERD site if your wanting to learn more.
