    Happy belated st. patty's day

Well I'm home and alive! After hopping around the pubs of Minneapolis and walking a friend home to her apartment, I made the unwise, Guiness-induced decision to walk myself home rather than wait for the bus(minneapolis was providing free bus fare from 6PM onward this evening to keep drunks off the street! isn't that fantastic??).

I ended up getting lost in the residential area of southwest minneapolis, an area I don't know very well, and by my estimate walking about 4 miles more than I needed to simply trying to find my way back to my apartment.

Luckily I didn't get mugged or become COMPLETELY lost, in fact the only bad thing from the dumb decision of walking home tipsy is a blister on my right heel. It was such a nice night out, and I'm in such a good mood, and the bit of exercise did some serious good for my spirits. I haven't had a chance to see any of my college friends at all since graduation, and since the girlfriend has been down in south america for the past month and a half it's been rather lonely.

Anyhoo, HAPPY ST. PATTY's DAY!! I hope everyone had as fun and interesting a night as I had.
