    Hi all

Just out of curiosity, would it be ok to use shredded paper as substrate?

if you wanted to . . . but im goin to assum itll be a little harder to clean than if u just laid a few pieces of newspaper or paper towel down . . .

any specific reason for using this as substrate?
    Cheers!

    Re: substrate

I usually take some shredded paper from my work office for my nephew's hamsters. As I was picking some up now this random thought popped into my head. Tried searching but I couldnt find any references made to it.

I use newspaper/paper towels for my ball and its so easy to clean i do not think i would change it.

    Thanks!
