    Alot of Help????

About six months ago I got a female ball from my local pet store (stupid i know trust me ive payed for it). The lady there assured me this snake was captive bred but if thats true she wasnt bred by a good breeder. i brought her home and started to research (it turns out buying an snake isnt like getting a puppy). I removed three ticks from her and finally got rid of her mites a few weeks after i brought her home. She has been to the vet three times since i got her (300 bucks i'm into this pet almost $800) and she has had shots and everything. i keep her tank at about 55% humidity except when she is shedding then its at around 70%. She has always had a good appitite (i feed her live mice with lots of supervision) but now she doesnt want to eat she lathargic and her eyes are dry and kinda shiny and she has a bit of a weeze sometimes. its a 2 hour drive to the vet and i would like to save some money if at all possible and see what i can do i know you are all going to tell the vet is the way to go and thats where we will prolly end up but does anyone have any suggestions i can try first.

Does her nose ever bubble? Is her mouth a little foamy? She could be getting an RI. You said she was treated for internal parasites, right?

I would schedule a vet visit. Could be an RI, could be the beginings of mouth rot, could be a lot of things. The vet would be best suited to give you further advise.

RI's usually respond well to antibiotics, especially when caught early. Mouth rot can be a real bear to deal with. If you do a search on mouth rot, you'll get the picture.

A vet visit sounds like a great idea

Wheezing is not a good sign. Keep us posted on the outcome
