    here is my infracted post.
im not mad i got an infraction, i deserved it
im just saying people shouldnt get their panties up in a bunch , including those asking for advice and maybe admins should regulate that too so people dont get turned off to the site like i have.
Well the post no longer contains the word that triggered the censor so it would be hard for other people to judge - if it helps it had 7 letters in it and I'm fairly certain the last three were "ing".

So yes it really was that bad of a word on a PG forum.

And it was only a zero point warning after all.

I would love it if people only posted nice friendly, helpful things on the site - but short of rewriting the posts of people who are having a bad day etc. I don't see how it would even be possible.

But I have to tell you if you think this site is unfriendly you really haven't visited a lot of the forums out there.

Indeed. Try posting on forums that aren't moderated and see how many posts you can make before someone tears into you. It's just like being in any public setting, not everyone is going to be peachy and tolerant of everyone else. You have to take the good with the bad and just accept it. Just like this thread... every board I've been a member of has has someone start an "I'm taking my toys and leaving" thread to draw sympathy after someone disagreed with them. They fuss and moan, disappear for a day or two, and then realize that they aren't going to change anything by doing it and just come back anyways. It's part of forum life, I'm sure you'll be back.

    Re: attitude

Can't expect people to be like in the Stepford wives can we

It's a forum, people have different opinions, people have different personalities, people sometimes argue, just like in real life

We can't make everyone get along or like one another we can only make sure that it doesn't go too overboard.

Trust me compare to other forums things around here are not that bad

    Re: attitude

    *meh* whatcha gonna do?

The rules are there and clearly stated, no probs there.

We all signed the same agreement regarding the TOS when we joined.

This is the only site I would recommend my teenage nieces and nephews to join. I have been on a lot of fourms that lack moderation, and have left a lot of those same forums for that reason.

If people want a language and abuse free-for-all, there are many out there. this site is for herpers of all ages, and we do our best to keep it a PG forum. That is not a secret.

    No apologies there.

AMEN FOR THAT! That this place is so well moderated is a breath of fresh air in the anything-goes atmosphere of many other forums.

    Re: attitude

I got an infraction for using these *** once instead of the word. I thought that was pretty lame, but I also agree with most of the moderation on this site and the PG friendly atmosphere. It is moderated for the kids, and you can tell there are quite a few on here. For the most part I think this is a great place though.
