Mealworms... what do they like to snack on?

So I wanna gut load my mealworms, and let them have something good to eat. What are the best foods to feed mealworms? I remember a while ago I put a grape in their cage and a few of them were snacking on it.

Oatmeal with orange slices works well.

Oatmeal and other grains. Whole grain flour will work. you can use this for bedding and breed them if you wanted. I was reading about breeding them the other day.

Re: Mealworms... what do they like to snack on?

We give ours a mix of veggies (carrots, peppers, squash, etc), apples, collard & dandelion greens, Mazuri tortoise chow and sometimes a VERY high-quality, high-protein dry dog food (EVO, etc). Never hurts to gut-load your feeders with the best food you can provide.

Mine live in oat or wheat bran and get a combo of carrots and assorted greens and veggies.

Well for my superworms I use this insect quencher thing for hydration and oats and cricket food for food and substrate, it works. But You can just use carrots and potatoes.
