Anna my blue is growing up

Anna is now four plus feet long and seriously wonderful. How do I loff her? Let me count the ways? (My mom used to recite that poem to us when we were kids and embarass the heck out of us.)

    • She loves to climb her branches and hang out scenically watching the world go by.
    • She eats very very reliably. WHAM!
    • She is beautiful. Takes my breath away.
    • She bites my son just about every time he touches her... but she never bites me.
    • She pretends to be a rattlesnake.
    • She growls like the meanest scariest cobra out there.
    • She is curious and fast and bright. Blue Lightning. She is amazing to handle and I feel privileged every time.

She got out last month when my son gave her water and was gone for four weeks. I thought for sure she was dead. But she came out in the middle of the night last saturday and, while thirsty, is none the worse for wear. I think, amazingly, that she grew a foot and I don't know how since she had no food... My husband is planning to make her a giant beautiful enclosure in my office (the man who is afraid of snakes)...

Ok, so that's my ramble. I'll get some new photos after she rests up from eating.

As a fellow OWR owner, I must insist on photos. I never get tired of looking at them.

You need to get her a mate. It's truly amazing to watch them pip into the world. When my clutch hatched, I had the hardest time giving them up. I ended up keeping one of the little females anyway. It's so hard to part with them.

Here are her pictures from a month or six weeks ago, can't remember exactly.

(I think these are all repeats.)
