Python ban.. Please help!
This is serious, and I know there are other threads on this.. EVERYONE PLEASE HELP OUT! Go to the website and call or fax: http://usark.org/forum/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=81
We love our pythons, and we hope to keep on selling, buying, and trading. Cross our fingers and hope the bill doesn't pass..
We cannot let this pass.. if this does pass, they are going to try to ban MORE and MORE snakes. Elapids and vipers cause much much more of a threat than pythons. All of this because of one's mistake.. and that mistake caused this mess to happen. Don't let this bill pass.. like I said if it does they are just going to ban more and more snakes until snakes are permanently banned from selling, buying, and trading. Please tell AS MANY PEOPLE AS YOU CAN to call or fax so this bill does NOT pass.

Were making an impact!!!!!!
Keep calling and faxing a personal letter with your personal info to every number! Make sure you get every number! Keep going all day if you have to! I was told by one rep that they have recieved more calls on this than any other issue in the house right now! Here are all the numbers. Keep at it. If you get a busy line move to the next one!
Time is critical, so please take the time to contact the following Congresspeople and ask them -- POLITELY -- to send this bill back to be amended to use the scientific names of the specific animals they're seeking to restrict, and not include common housepets along with animals of concern.

Re: Python ban.. Please help!
I just got off the phone with someone at Congressman Tom Rooney's office. He said Rooney was going to introduce a bill in the morning to limit the ban to Burmese Pythons only.
