    Mystery Gecko (Probably a Day)

So we have a 9+ animal rescue come this Sun 7/26
In the large group is a (6 inch green gecko with sticky pads, line down it's back)
I can only assume a day gecko.. what do you guys think. I am used to the norm, tokays, leopards, fat tails etc etc.
It is in a 30Gallon and eats crickets...
This person does own two captive bred Australian Water Dragons bought from a captive breeder.
He doesn't just have the "run of the mill" (I hate wording it like that).
Just wondering what gecko owners might think:
    6-7 inch
    Green
    sticky pads
    Insectivorous
    Line down the back
(I wish I could have a pic. I just hate not knowing but that does happen allot here. I just like to be prepared.
So anyone with gecko exp please chime in
    I would really appreciate it.
    Sincerely
    Rusty

    I just realized the same.
I have no idea. None the less, once the lil guy or girl comes in we should be able to ID (I just hate not knowing) I will try and post pics along with the others.
If any other gex owners happen to know (again this is coming from the O)
    Thanks again
Just want the p/u over and done with at this point.

Re: Mystery Gecko Now W/ PICS

Hi all, We have the new "mystery" gecko...He has horizontal bands.
Blurry pics but I did my best
Here is the enclosure we fished him out of (29G):

It is probably the easiest gecko to id (with my luck)..lol
He was very very dark but has lightened to the color you see above.

Anyhow, if anyone has any ideas.
    Thanks
    Rusty

PS I swear every time I look at him I swear I've seen em before.

    Not a day gecko.
I think it's a Hemidactylus geckos. Not entirely sure of the species, but possibly Hemidactylus mabouia.

Woah, I missed the whole 6 inch part. Is it bumpy or smooth?
