Bp's do not need to soak before shed. It can dry out their skin and make it harder to shed.

Really? I suppose it makes sense. It's not like they're putting lotion on after they get out of the tub.

My normal and pastel poop and and most of the time pee too with each shed.

Just keep the humidity up around 70% all the time and she will shed a day or 2 after she clears up. I noticed mine had shed when I peeked at her and her eyes were shony and clean. Took a look in the other hide and bam, a brown log, pile of skin, and some pee.

would using a moist sponge as a way to increase humidity be effective? I use aspen shavings and the humididty stays at about 55% all the time. Im trying to think of a way to save money and not buy an $8.00 bag of sphagnum moss.
