    T-stat failure

Well first off, I'm not sure if this is the right area for this or not but... My spyder T-stat just totally blew after having it for only 2 months. And stupid me lost my reciept. So I was wondering if anyone knows where I would go to get a replacment(if they even do that kinda thing). Or am I just out of luck?

    Re: T-stat failure

I had a Herpstat 1 blow a fuse when I tried to plug it into an oil-filled radiator. I did not realize that the radiator was way to many watts... The Herpstat 1 has a soldered in fuse, so unless you can find a replacement fuse and are comfortable with soldering, you may have to send it back to Spyder Robotics to get it fixed. Some of the other models have a resetable fuse, so you will never run into this issue.

    Hope this helps.

The best advice I can offer is to just call them and explain your situation and beg for mercy, your really at there mercy because you lost the receipt and cant validate the purchase they dont have to repair anything.
