    Paring down :(

I am not happy about this, but I have to pare down my snakie collection for awhile. I am moving across country, and money is tight, as well as space.. But I am Not getting out of the hobby. I am keeping about 4 of my snakes..

I know that I have not been round here much lately. I apologise for that; I love this place, and its sense of community, and its people (and their differences. I am actually happy, because I don't have to give up all of my snakes; I am definately holding on to a few of them. It is funny; while I care for, and love, all of them.. there are a few that I just cannot part with, that are definately part of my "family." Does anyone else feel this way, once they statr getting more than a handful of snakes?

Just updating everyone on my situation, in case anyone wondered if i were alive or not.

Thanks! It is going to be a stressful leap of faith, but I think that we are ready. I sure hope so!

I only have 5 snakes, but I sort of feel like that about all of them; each one is special to me in its own way, so I can't imagine how hard it must have been to only choose a couple that you would keep, especially with a bigger collection.

yeah did that 3 years ago. sold everything that wouldn't fit into the back of the car and moved 1500 miles West. it ended up being the right decision and i don't regret it.

That's how i feel about my "core" group of 4 snakes. I could never sell them.. the rest.. not that they're too much for me. But I like the idea of having less snakes, and being able to spend more time admiring them and the like. And with moving, my funds and time will both be limited. But my core group of snakies; I don't want to sell, and won't! Worse comes to worst, I will find smoeone trusted to foster them.. but for now, I am glad to be able to kep the 4 of them that I am.
