What would happen if..?
I was just wondering out of curiosity, what would happen if someone cut a bp egg too early into developtment, like day day 35 or 40.... Would the snake in the egg just die instantly?

i have cut on day 40 before and i still had a 100% hatch i wouldnt recommend it but it has been done by me and a couple other members from what i remember from another post before similar to this 1 ..
I love it when people tell me, "You should think before you speak!" I'm like, "I did. It's what I think and I really don't give a crap what other people think."

Re: What would happen if..?
i always cut on day 49, seems to work for me, ive never had any baby not come out. i have heard some stories of people cutting on day 45 and the snakes dried out and died.
Thanks

Re: What would happen if..?
I had to go on vacation, and unfortunately left my eggs in the incubator in the hands of my friends dad who thinks he knows everything about snakes... So he cut the eggs on day 40 because they started to dimple in, (without my permisson..) ... And i got worried... But im sure they will be fine.... Also, they were het albino x het albino as far as i know, so i peeked into the eggs, and they arent albinos.. But they were Literally white snakes with a tannish light light brown pattern... Is that how they will look when only at day 40?

Their color hasn't developed yet. Color development is one of the final stages of the developmental process.
