Interesting YB's rest of clutch (DUW)

Alright here are pictures of the other 4 hatchlings from the Interesting Yellow Belly Clutch after shed. I got a 1.4 hatchlings from 5 eggs here are the other 3 girls and the male.
    0.3 are are YB
1.1 I am pretty sure are not YB but still got the crazy flames!
Oh and some of the pictures the Flash washed out but you still get the idea

Female #2 - She is a YB and has the nice flames

Female #3 - She is a YB to but has a better checker pattern on the belly and the nice flames

Female #4 - Pretty sure she is not a YB but look still has the Flames!

Male - Pretty sure he is not a YB either but still got the Flames!

Yep... I believe I am going to keep the whole clutch. Need to keep back girls to replace some more normal breeder girls but also want to see if there is something else happening here.

So I think I have asked you before but where in NJ are ya?

I don't blame you! I'm in Union County up North.

Re: Interesting YB's rest of clutch (DUW)

Now I just need to get a Breeder size female YB or 2 for this next season to shoot for some Ivories!
I plan on doing the pairing that produced this clutch again next season if mom will go again to see if I can get some more of the same. Then I think the next time she is bred will be back to the son above that is not YB to see if there is something going on with those flames.
I also am considering that the flames are coming from daddy YB as you will see in the pictures below.

Here is the 1st female of the clutch that was posted in my other thread

Here is the Father at several months of age... See the similarity?

And this is him even older so I hope they all hold those flames

Re: Interesting YB's rest of clutch (DUW)

You stand a fair chance of some of them being YBs actually.

Like all co-doms there are strong YBs and weak YBs. We have a couple of girls here held back from a YB breeding that are exactly the same, don't have all YB markers but have some (ie blushing, flames and head spots but no granite belly).

    Well worth holding back IMO.
