    Few questions...

Alright, last time I had a question on this female I was told that she would go off food if gravid. I offered food last week and she shyed away from the rat a bunch and then killed it. I thought she was going to eat it, but , after checking the cage I relized that she left it there dead. Is this a gravid females behavior? Here is a pic of her with a meal in her about a month ago......

Here is a pic now after two weeks without food.

Is it safe to say she is finally building? By the way when palpating I can feel 5 good lumps in the fat part of here body. Is that the area where folicles usually are? Thanks for your insight.

Either that or she just ate a soda can
If you can keep a good eye out, you can't mistake an ovulation...so hurry up and wait! lol Then you will know for sure. What was she paired with?

I'll tell you what, either I'm going to die from anxiety or learn a lot about patientce. She was in with a dinker male, nothing serious, hopefully her pattern turns out to be genetic she looks kinda cool.

She has a nice, reduced pattern. You are about to learn a TON about patience

    Re: Few questions...

I personally wouldn't at this point but it couldn't hurt I guess. From what I understand, a gravid girl won't eat.

Good for you! Always good to have that done, up and running to make sure everything works like it's supposed to!

Welcome to MORE waiting now! First the post ovulation/pre-lay shed, and then the days until laying. I've gone one last clutch that I'm waiting on, and it feels like she's NEVER going to lay - it should be any day now (of course I was saying that last week - so I'm convinced she's intentionally torturing me!)
