Cameras that take good photos?

if you are thinking dslr, you can get a nikon d40 for around $300, then spend the money on a great lens

I use my wife's Finepix Z30 and it comes out real well. If I actually had a decent set up to take photos with Im sure it would be a lot better, but for random shots while cleaning and whatever it works EXCELLENTLY.

I am using a Canon PowerShot sx100is and it takes amazing pictures and you dont have to be einstine to use it.
