from 20 to none in 1.2 minutes.....

i just lost my entire mouse colony to a sneaky german shepherd dog who just learned to operate door knobs. it really sux, i was really looking forward to the red mice...

grrrr! i was working on reds, blacks, and whites!!!! now they are dog chow!!!! dog knows better, but has been banished to the living room and yard (no more bed time). i am really upset/disappointed. i know at least half of them made it out alive (watched them escape from under the garage door).

anyone else have pet/feeder related incidents?

Sadly these kind of things happen. Your dog was only doing what her instincts told her to do. My beagle dog when younger was bad about trying to get to my hamsters and old pet rats. She finally grew out of it, but it took a long time and hard and clever work.

My German Shepard was retarded. But I loved her and miss her none the less. We had to put her down a few months back. Its was the most difficult thing I have had to do.
