Hey Im semi-new to the reptile world, and just wanted everyones take on whether it would be okay for a 16 year old to breed? Not saying I'm actually going to start, just wanted everyones opinion.

Physical age of the breeder is much less important than dozens of other qualifications that make someone into a good reptile caretaker/breeder.

why wouldnt it be as long as your parents are supportive. Could end up being costly. I dont know why they wouldnt be there are 1000 things far worse you could be doing.

    Goodluck if you decided to!

    Oooohh.

    Well I would say..

Buy a female hatchling, get her up to breeding size, and over the next couple of years learn all you can about BP's (assuming that's the snakes you would like to breed) and if you would still like to start breeding by then, go for it!

Just keep in mind you'll probably end up spending more money than you make. Ball pythons are addictive.

I doubt any of those females will be of proper weight by this season.
