    Scale For Weight

Should I have a scale available to weigh my BP on a regular basis? If so, what should I get?

    Re: Scale For Weight

You can find a kitchen scale at Target or Wal Mart. Just make sure it weighs in grams. Mine can weigh objects up to 10 lbs.

Weighing on a regular basis is not necessary unless you are monitoring a fasting snake. Even then I would measure weights every 2 weeks.

I would recommend a cooking scale from target or walmart. Get one that measures in grams; shouldn't be more $20.

    Re: Scale For Weight

Just make sure it's digital, weighs in 1 gram increments and will go high enough for the biggest adult size of the snake species you are intending to keep. We have the 7001DX and I'd highly recommend it. Don't waste your money on the optional AC adapter though, it really doesn't go through batteries very fast. Here's a couple of online suppliers to consider that carry this model....
