    shed ?s

    i had my ball bout a month and a half and she has yet to shed am i doing something wrong? is this normal?

    You didn't give any specifics (age, weight, feeding frequency, etc), but no matter. Snakes shed when they need to. Just keep an eye on her and bump the humidity when she turns blue.

    I can only speak for mine, but they seem to be on an average of about every 60 days. I make sure I keep accurate feed, weight, growth, defecation and shed records. That way I can track their trends and anticipate approaching sheds, defecations, etc... Alot of times that is the only way to know something isn't quite right, because they are breaking habits. Also it helps if I see a pink belly I can check my records to see if they are approaching a shed cycle or if they may have gotten burned. It's alot better than trying to remember everything and a BIG peace of mind...
