Leave or remove moldy egg?
So my clutch is at day 15 and I saw that the top egg which was getting pretty dimpled is now covered in white mold. I have read varying views and I'm not really sure what's the best thing to do. I applied liquid band aid to the egg next to it that looked like it had a wet spot on it. I would like to the cut the egg off, but it is attached to about 5 other eggs and really don't feel comfortable removing them from the substrate. This is my first time breeding so I'm a little nervous. What should I do? Thanks.

Most of the time moldy eggs won't spread to the others...There are exceptions though...
Personally I would try to remove it.

What would be the best way to go about removing it. It is connected to a group of 5 eggs. Thanks.

The Barkers recommend using waxed dental floss. Be patient. Take your time. We've had moldy eggs stay stuck to the rest of the clutch, and I don't like it. Mold spores abound. I often think of the new hatchlings and their respiratory health. So, I prefer to remove moldy eggs, but as it was already mentioned, mold usually will not harm healthy eggs.

If you can do it easily, then remove it, but dont worry about it if you cant.
Sometimes they are just really difficult to get at, and we have never had anything detrimental happen to the rest of a clutch due to a mouldy egg.
