    Scale and Chart

Hey all! I just recently picked up a nice scale on the sale from bed and bath beyond, and weighted my only snake and holy crap 1,013 grams! I just picked him up from petsmart exactly a year ago and he was so small and tiny. I wasn't expecting him to weigh that much. Isn't that normal for ball pythons to weigh that much?? Although I am kinda hoping he or she (unsexed) would top out at around 2000 or even 3000 grams.

Also do you guys have some kind of chart to keep track of feeding and weight? I really need to start to keep track of it. That will be awesome!

    Thanks!

p.s here the most recent picture of him

I have a 1.5 year old female that weighs 1200g. I don't really keep track of it except to make sure she doesn't start to lose weight or something.

    Re: Scale and Chart

I actually created my first ever spreadsheet! So I can hook you up with that, if I knew how....

Edit* Never mind, I guess it got deleted off my work computer.
Edit 2* Guess ill answer the question. I created a spread sheet that tracks the date of each shed, the date of each feeding as well as the size and type (mouse, rat, asf), date of each cleaning as well as what was cleaned out (poop, pee, poop+pee) and the date and weight.

Also at the top of each sheet there is a little info about the snake, i.e. age, date aquired/hatched, name, genetics, sex
