Day 29 no eggs pulling my hair!

I swear I saw ovulation pre shed and everything the female is bloated and rock hard. It's day 29 and I am starting to judge my sanity she doesn't look like she wants to lay anymore. When should I start to be worried.

Give it some time and don't worry...I had eggs laid this year at 23 days. In the past I have had it happen past 30 days. She'll get there

While the average is that female lay 27 to 35 days after Pre-lay shed, remember it is an average and is can also be longer.

My last clutch was laid 49 days after pre-lay shed.

Re: Day 29 no eggs pulling my hair!

This is my first year breeding. I didn't think I was going to get any eggs. I saw her ovulate, and she had her pre-lay shed on February 23rd. March 23rd came and went. April 23rd, came and went. May 4th, I open the tub and BOOM! Eggs!. I have to agree that ball python breeding requires a lot...and I mean a lot...of patience.
    Under Construction.....
