    freaking UGH UGH UGH

Tonight, we gave Lillith, our sick BP with an RI who is healing rapidly, her second mouse in 3 weeks. She was hungry, seeking out food, etc.

She caught it in such a way that it's mouth was open on her neck and it bit her. No blood, but it mucked up her scales. I'm all freaking out while she's eating going, "eff me!!!". She seems fine and I'm thankful she just got her Baytril shot, but wth!!!???

I am going to work very hard on getting her on f/t mice. Our corn (5 feet which died in spring 2007) got torn up by live small mice. I refuse to deal with this issue again.

No biggie for now, guys. Just a rant on my part.

Right? I am SO PISSED! I need to get her onto f/t. SHe's had such a hard time of late. MY Stupidity!! BTW... she barely took her last mouse until we intro'd her face to it, so I suppose we'll have to bonk her on the head with the f/t.

But effer! the damn thing bit her! Ack!

I have a feisty little one that kills everything, but refuses to leave her hide to do it. Last week I fed her 2 mice and one of my males rejected his food so i gave it to her. I was gettin ready to drop it onto her substrate but she leapt out of her terracotta pot, snatched him and dragged him into her "lair." I open up her tank on Saturday to check her out/clean her poop and pee and find she has a bite mark behind her head. Quick fix of Neosporin, waiting for her to heal. I hate mice.
