Pastel's new skin!

This is Shan Longshanks, my 08 pastel after he just finished a perfect shed this morning. Thought I'd take him out for some pics. Hope you enjoy.



















He's getting huge! Here's a pic of him not too long after I brought him home. I love seeing my snakes grow!

Thanks. But I'm not sure what your seeing, he doesn't have any scars under his chin. Which pic do you see it in?

Its a fold of skin because the left and right sides of the lower jaw are independent and can move as such. It is normal and natural.

Hahaha. i have truthfully never noticed that on any of my snakes.

Maybe it's his coloration? I'm not sure i'm seeing it.
