    Need Some Help

I cut my first clutch of 09 last week. 24hrs after cutting I had a baby come out still attached to the egg. The cord was all twisted tied in a knot. Its been four days now its all the way out of the egg, but still attached.

The sack and cord are getting a bit funky. What should I do? I have it on damp paper towel. It didn't absorb most of its yolk. There is a bit of a smell now the cord is turning black. I was told not to cut it. Any help on this would be great.

I don't have my camera right now the girlfriend has it. The snake didn't absorb any of its cord or anything. There is the cord then a knot. Then there is a sack like looking thing. The sack like looking thing is still attached to the egg. The cord from the knot to the snake is starting to turn black. The rest of it the sack and the rest of the cord are starting to stink.

Well I cleaned its tub last night. Within a few minutes of me changing his paper towel. I went to check on it. It was free from the egg and roaming its cage. It does have about an inch or so of the cord hanging. I don't see that being a problem. I've had them like that before. So now as long as it makes it to its first meal. Everything should be good. I am going to try to feed it today.

Well A little update. The little female that was all twisted up in her cord. She ate her first meal last night. I put a good sized mouse hopper in her tub left it over night. This morning it was gone and she is nice and plump looking. I had another hold out female YB from the same clutch that has not yet ate. She also ate last night.
