    CHIN!!! Too CUTE!

    I adore Chinchillas. Worked with the sweetest male back at the zoo that had me wrapped around his paw.
    Wish I could own one, but A) BF is allergic to furry critters, and B) No room in current apartment.

    Keep on enjoying that little bundle of lightning fluff!

    Argentra, Chinnies don't shed dander. So they're perfect for anyone with allergies. That's why we had our Chins, were both allergic to cats and dogs. I guess that's a contributing factor as to why I have snakes

    My girlfriend's dad raised chins in the 70s(i think i have the right decade) with a friend to harvest fur.

    They look soft.

    They are not harvested like llamas or alpacas, chinchillas are pelted.

    OP: Cute chin! Looks like he needs a good dust bath though. Hmm, you've given me the urge to show off my 7 chinnies, lol.
