    Help I'm panicing!

So my said to look in the lease and she if you are allowed to have a snake (she has a phobia, though I'm not living with her...just my girlfriend). So I look in the lease and it says pets welcome...dogs and cats must have down deposit. BUT it says no reptiles are allowed. CRAP!!! Well it also says in the lease that they leave a notice of the day they do inspections IF they do. But I was talking to someone at this apartment and they said out of the 2 years they lived here they had no inspections. So um...what do I do?

Lease says no reptiles, so if they catch you, you're screwed. I guess try to ride it out until the lease is up, hide reptiles if they give you notice about inspections/maintenance, and then find a new place once the lease is up

Thats up to you. If you think you can get away with it, then do it. But realize, if you do keep the snake, and they do catch you, its an automatic break in the lease agreement, and they can, and most likely will evict you.

To me, its not worth it. Find another apartment.

That doesn't make any sense. If I were you, I would read the actual terms. There's no "domestic" reptiles. If they mean "native" maybe.. but balls aren't native.
If the lease says no reptiles, and you do get caught, you could be liable for quite a bit, have to get rid of the snake. So be careful about it whichever way you end up going.

nah...it actually doesn't say anything about reptiles? But it does say pets are allowed and it mentions fish?
